Independent Living

Chosen Valley Apartments opened in 1990 with 15 independent living units for seniors in the Chatfield area. All apartments are located on the ground level, including 13 one bedroom, 2 two bedroom, and one apartment that is of handicap design. Apartments are rented on a monthly basis at a standard non-subsidized amount. However, individuals may apply for rental assistance through county programs. Each tenant pays their own utilities (electricity, telephone and cable for TV).

Building security is provided through a locked front door. An intercom system in each apartment allows communication with visitors and the front door may then be unlocked from within the apartment.
